A graphic of aa Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe to make at home.

A Pumpkin Spice Latte made with fresh pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, milk, and strong hot coffee. Create a coffee house in your own kitchen...

A glass coffee cup filled with Pumpkin Spice Latte topped with sprinkles.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin (canned puree)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Sprinkle Pop Fall Sprinkles
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup strong hot coffee

Buying Pumpkin Puree

  • When you go to buy pumpkin puree, canned pumpkin and pumpkin puree are the same thing. These terms can be confusing to consumers!
  • Some cans will say pumpkin solid-pack, and that is pumpkin puree which works for this recipe. (BTW pumpkin pie filling is a totally different product which you dont want for this recipe).
  • I suggest you buy organic pumpkin puree, so the only ingredient is pumpkin, with no additives or anything extra.

You Can Make Pumpkin Puree

You can make pumpkin puree at home. Cut open the pumpkin or squash into large pieces and either boil, roast, or steam it until cooked. Remove the skin, and mash or blend it into a puree.

Use homemade puree in recipes in place of canned pumpkin.

Make Your Own Pumpkin Pie Spice

Mix your own Pumpkin Pie Spice. You can certainly buy it, but it is a great way to use pantry spices and tastes so much better homemade.

Take a look at my post on how to make some...
