Caramel Dip Recipe: you can make your own homemade caramel sauce or buy a really good quality one at the store!

PRO MAKE AHEAD TIP: If serving next day, for best results keep the dip in the fridge in an airtight container or covered with plastic wrap. Pull out before the party, sprinkle the crushed candy bars over the top of the cream cheese mixture, and arrange the apple slices in a spiral pattern around the dipping bowl right before serving.

How To Make Easy Caramel Apple Dip

In a medium-size bowl, beat room temperature soft cream cheese with an electric hand mixer until very smooth about 3 minutes. Add the powder sugar, milk and vanilla, beat until well combined and a creamy perfect consistency.

Use a good caramel sauce like a salted caramel sauce or make a really tasty homemade caramel sauce.

In a small serving bowl, spread the dip mixture evenly, then drizzle 4 or so tablespoons of good caramel sauce on top of the cream cheese layer.

Unwrap the Heath bars and chop them on a cutting board into a small pieces. Then sprinkle the chopped Heath bars on top.

You can use Granny Smith green apples, or Honeycrisp apples! The best way to keep your apples from turning brown, is to squeeze a little lemon juice into a medium size bowl.

Use an apple slicer, knife, or melon ball to scoop out the seeds. Slice apples into ½" apple slices. Toss the sliced apples in lemon juice to coat which keeps them white, and will stop the browning.

PRO TIP: Squeeze the lemon juice in a medium-sized bowl and toss the apples to keep them white and pretty.

I took this dip to a ladies' gathering the other night, and they went crazy for it...

AND they cleaned every bit from the dish until the last bit was gone...it really is that good.

And yes, I got a text for the recipe the next day!

How To Serve Your Dip

Place the dip bowl in the center of a round platter, and then arrange the cut fresh apple slices in a spiral around the dip.

PRO TIP: Arrange the cut apple slices in a spiral around the dip. I used an inexpensive galvanized tray...
