Delighted to Judge Cakes and Cupcakes at the 2017 OC Fair, what delicious fun. Creative cake pops, fruit flavor cupcakes, and specialty (gluten-free) cakes!
All the entries are dropped off in the morning to Culinary Arts in the OC Promenade on the OC Fairgrounds...
Look at all the cakes and cupcakes ready for judging...lined up as far as the eye can see!
Cake and Cupcake Judging:
The final judging and tasting count: 18 cupcakes, 6 cake pops, 6 specialty cakes. Only one or two bites each, but that is some serious cake eating my friends...but hey I take my job seriously and completed the mission...

Only one or two bites each, but that is a whole lotta sugar in 3 hours. Wait, did I just eat sweet treats for 3 straight hours?
Or was it 4. Hmmm...Yes, it was four, hello sugar coma!

After the judging wonderful sweet treats all afternoon, suddenly I was craving a salad. And lots of water. Imagine that?
