Notes
melting chocolate
- I used white chocolate chips, melting candy wafers will work fine too. When melting chocolate over simmering water, be careful not to get any water in your chocolate or it will seize and not be useable.
- You can add a couple of drops of vegetable oil to add some gloss and shine to your chocolate.
- If you color white melting wafers, be sure to use the right gel coloring product your chocolate wafers need. Sometimes regular food coloring can seize the chocolate.

This post should be titled "How to make Oreos even better." I was looking for something to make for my son's St. Patty's Day party at school this year and these are so cute and so easy I figured I could manage them. I am happy to report they turned out fantastic! Maybe too fantastic. I decided I better freeze these for home and make a new batch the day before the party. So cute! I used the mint Oreos for a totally green experience!
