A Halloween party food idea that comes together in just 20 minutes. It holds well tucked in the fridge overnight and will enchant your friends and family at your Halloween party...

I have made this now for several Halloween parties, it tastes AMAZING. Yes, there is a lot of cracked black pepper in this recipe. And even the kids absolutely love it!
Put out a couple of different crackers, and the party is on!
What You Need Savory Dip
12 ounces softened cream cheese
6 ounces goat cheese ~leave out if goat cheese isn't your thing!
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon Lawry’s seasoned salt
½ teaspoon celery salt
½ teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon fresh coarse cracked pepper reserve for decoration
¼ cup fresh parsley finely chopped
assorted crackers
Assemble The Halloween Dip Appetizer
- Reserve the coarse cracked black pepper for decoration in a small bowl.
- In a medium bowl, mix the soft cream cheese, goat cheese, garlic powder, Lawry's seasoned salt, celery salt, and dried thyme in a mixing bowl by hand, a handheld mixer, or mini Cuisinart.
- On a small platter, shape the ½ the cracker spread into a tombstone shape, or mold the tombstone in your hands and place it on a small platter. Shape other ½ of the cracker spread into a mound in front of the tombstone.
- Using a spoon, sprinkle the "tombstone" with fresh cracked pepper.
- With the point of a small paring knife, write “RIP” on the tombstone.
- Go back over the letters until you can read them, and make sure the cracker dip isn't too soft to carve the letters.
- Sprinkle parsley on the mound for grass.
- Surround the grave with assorted crackers and serve.
Put whole black peppercorns in a clean coffee grinder that is just used to grind spices, and grind away. You can also use a mortar and pestle and crushed the peppercorns that way.

DAIRE! Thank you so much for including my Tombstone Cracker Spread recipe, LOVE your roundup and appreciate all those spooky creepy fun recipes!
Haven't made this one for Halloween, but I have made it and loved the cream and goat cheeses mixed with thyme and spices. I rest the mixture on a bed of the chopped parsley so you scoop some up with your crackers. Great appetizer for company.
