First, make space in your fridge for a tray or sheet pan. Set up twelve 3 oz plastic cups (shot cups) on the tray. You will pour the mixture into 3 separate layers. Yellow first, then orange, topped with white. PLAN FOR THIS: Chilling for at least 4 hours in between each layer until set! Cover with the plastic lids, and keep chilled overnight in the fridge. Don't freeze. Let's make candy corn jello shots!
Set up a heatproof small bowl or mixing cup to mix the jello layers.
NOTE: Jello packet instructions have you add cold water, you will be swapping in alcohol like vodka for that step, so disregard the package directions!
First, Make The Bottom Yellow Layer
Second, Make The Middle Orange Layer
Finally, Make The Top White Layer
Note: The order is important for this layer! To ¾ boiling cup of water add 1 oz of gelatin, and whisk well. The gelatin helps set the white chocolate pudding mix.
Next, add 3.3 oz white chocolate Jello pudding mix, 1 cup vodka and 3 ice cubes. The ice helps chill the layer faster. The ice will melt fast, and when it does you are ready to pour.
Pour the last top white layer one each of the plastic cups. Fill the top ⅓ of the shot cup with the white mixture leaving a bit of room at the top.
Carefully snap the lids on the shots. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, and preferably overnight. Wait until the jello shot is firm and doesn't stick to your finger.

What kind of jello shot cups and glasses are best?
Try a small 3 oz plastic container with a lid. This way you can easily stack and take them to a party. I found these little plastic cups in the grocery store aisle right by the standard packages of jello powder.
What is the ratio of Jello, Gelatin, and Alcohol?
Gelatin "Jello" is typically sold in either a 6-ounce box or a 3-ounce box.
The strongest you can make jello shots (that will set) is a 3 to 1 ratio of 80-proof alcohol like vodka to water, and it takes overnight to set up.
How many shots per person?
When throwing a party, you'll probably want to prepare 1-2 for each guest.
