  • 2 oz Midori
  • 6 oz Fresca soda
  • ice

Instructions

decorate the cup rims

  • To create the clover sprinkle rim, melt white chocolate wafers in the microwave according to the package. Dye with green drops made for chocolate.
  • PRO TIP: you must use special chocolate food coloring or the chocolate candy wafers will seize and not melt.
  • Pour the St. Patrick's Day sprinkles on a plate. Dip the rim of a glass in the melted chocolate, then dip the rim into the sprinkles. Let the chocolate set, and mix your drink!

mix the Tipsy Leprechauns

  • Fill a cup with ice. You can also add ice to a chilled cocktail glass, copper mug, or crystal high ball glass.
  • Add 2 oz vodka, 2 oz Midori, and top off with 6 oz of Fresca.

Notes

Fresca

You can swap out the Fresca with lemon-lime soda like 7up or sour mix. Or you can make a simple syrup and add fresh lemon juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, or fresh lime juice. Top with equal parts of club soda water, stir and enjoy.

Homemade Green Sprinkles

Make your own lucky shamrock sprinkles by mixing various ones you have at home. Look for any shade of green light or dark. Use gold sparkling sugars, stars, or gold dragees. White looks great too and yellow will work just fine.
You can order some shamrock-shaped sprinkles online and mix those in as well. Use different shapes, sizes, nonpareils, hundreds-and-thousands, jimmies, sanding sugars, crystal sugars, pearl sugar, and dragees. Store them in a small mason jar.
