Notes

Limeade Concentrate: Found in the freezer section of your market, look for simply limeade or minute maid brand. Place on the counter for about 30 minutes to make it easy to get out of the can.
Sweetness: If you don't want the margaritas as sweet, reduce the limeade to half of the can.
Tequila: Use one cup (8 ounces tequila) of gold, silver, or Blanco tequila.
Silver tequilas (labeled Blanco or platinum) are mostly clear like water and are the best choice for margaritas. This young tequila is only aged a short time for a couple of months and not more than 60 days.
Gold tequilas are more economical, and rarely aged, but have a darker brown color. Although they can certainly be used in blended margaritas it is not ideal for margarita cocktails. In fact, gold tequilas have often had coloring added to the agave juice prior to fermentation to give the tequila a special dark "premium" color.
Mexican Beers: Use a Mexican lager, try Estrella, Modelo, Jalisco, Tecate, Corona, Dos Equis Light, or Bohemia.
