  • 10 fresh strawberries
  • 20 drops Stevia (liquid)
  • 2-4 shots vodka
  • 2 squeezes orange or tangerine
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 splash sparkling water
  • 2 halves strawberries for heart garnish

Strawberry Heart Garnish

  • Remove the stem, and cut a pretty red strawberry into two halves.  Lay them on the cutting board.
  • Use a small heart-shaped cookie cutter to make the heart garnish. Cut a small slit to place on rim of the glass.

Shake Strawberry Cocktails

  • In a cocktail shaker, place several strawberries cut in half (or bits of strawberries from cutting the heart garnish) in the bottom of the shaker, and 20 drops liquid stevia. Use a wood muddle stick, and macerate the berries well.
  • Add 2-4 shots of vodka, a good squeeze of orange/tangerine, and 2 cups of ice cubes. Place lid on and shake well. Pour into glasses through the strainer and garnish with heart strawberries on the rim. Add splashes of zero-calorie seltzer water and ice if desired.

You can find these products right in your grocery store baking aisle, health stores, or online.
Stevia is a sugar substitute extracted from the stevia plant and is calorie-free which is wonderful. One thing to know about stevia that it tastes so much sweeter than regular sugar, so a little goes a long way.
