Candy Cane Martinis:
full-size candy canes crushed
reserve for rim garnish
Cream de Cacao - white
candy cane vodka - homemade or Peppermint Vodka
Make Homemade Candy Cane Infused Peppermint Vodka:
Unwrap 14 full-size candy canes, crush in a food processor for 30 seconds or use a ziplock bag and a rolling pin. Crush to a fine powder.
Using a funnel, pour the candy cane powder into a large pretty glass decorative bottle and fill with vodka. Shake to mix crushed candy cane, it will completely dissolve overnight.
Make the Candy Cane Martinis
Garnish the martini glass rim: crush 2 full-size candy canes into small pieces. Use a ziplock bag and a rolling pin.
Dip the glass rim in marshmallow cream, spread on a plate, and then dip in the crushed candy cane on a second plate.
Mix, the martini:
Combine 2 cups candy cane vodka (or peppermint vodka), 3 tablespoons white creme de cacao, and 2 tablespoons peppermint schnapps in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
Shake vigorously. Pour into martini glass. Hang a candy cane off glass rim.
