Boursin Cheese Recipe
Boursin Cheese whips together in just minutes for an easy appetizer. One of the best ways to eat it is simply with toasted warm bread or crackers. What makes this herb cream cheese spread so good? The creamy texture from the whipping process, a grate of real parmesan cheese, and fresh herbs.

- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- ¼ cup fresh herbs parsley chives, dill, basil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream or fresh milk
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
Bring the cream cheese block to room temperature. In a large mixing bowl, add the soft cream cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, sea salt, heavy cream, and finely chopped herbs. I used fresh parsley, chives, dill, and basil. And the best way to chop them quickly is in a coffee mug, with a clean pair of kitchen shears!
Using a hand mixer, beat until well combined and fluffy with a smooth texture. This adds lightness and makes it easy to spread onto bread, crackers, etc. Add a bit more cold heavy cream to get a luxuriously light texture if needed.
Make this mixture up to a day ahead, and is a great option if you want to assemble a day before your party. Store in the fridge in an airtight container or small bowl covered with plastic wrap.
Bring it to room temperature to help it spread easily. Serve with crostini, warm bread sticks or baguettes, or crackers.
