Halloween Appetizer: Peppered Tombstone Cracker Spread
Peppered Tombstone Cracker Spread is a spooky and easy Halloween appetizer to serve with assorted crackers. A bit hit at Halloween parties!

- 12 ounces softened cream cheese
- 6 ounces goat cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon fresh coarse cracked black pepper (reserve for decoration)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
- assorted crackers
In a stand mixer (or handheld mixer), combine the softened cream cheese, goat cheese, garlic powder, Lawry's seasoned salt, celery salt, and dried thyme in a mixing bowl (Reserve the coarse cracked black pepper for decoration).
On a small platter, shape the 1/2 the cracker spread into a tombstone or mold tombstone in hands and place on small platter.
Shape other 1/2 of the cracker spread into a mound in front of the tombstone.
Using a spoon, sprinkle the "tombstone" with fresh cracked pepper.
With the point of a small paring knife, write “RIP” on the tombstone.
Sprinkle parsley on the mound for grass.
Surround the grave with assorted crackers and serve.
A big hit at Halloween parties!
Soften cream cheese by leaving on counter for a couple of hours. Carve RIP into the cream cheese when it is not too soft using the tip of a paring knife.
